Built in 1892, this building was build to replace a previous building that was destroyed by a fire in 1891.

This classic brick commercial vernacular was built in 1892. As reported in the Vernon County Censor in 21 October 1891, a fire had destroyed the previous building at that address. The fire took out several buildings along the block, therefore 1892 saw a rebuilding of a fair part of the town. In 1922 and 1933 an additional 25 feet was added to the original 50 foot length of the building. Between 1892 to at least 1911 the building was used as a meat market. The most prominent one was in 1908 when it housed the Morrison & Larson's Meat Market. In 1922 the building housed a jewelry store which is thought to have been an extension of the jewelry store in the building to the North which still houses a jewelry store today. In 1933 it housed an unnamed retail shop. Today the building houses Parrish Music.
