In Ticonderoga, at a golf country club club, is Emerald's Restaurant, which offers gluten-free items on its menu and a view of the Adirondack Mountains.
The restaurant is along 9N. From the rotary west of the center of Ticonderoga, go west on New York 9N and follow the road about a mile to the restaurant on the right.
The restaurant takes up most of the first floor of the building. We learned of the place from the motel where we stayed. However, the sign also says 'Public Welcome.' In side, there are two dining areas. One area is like a porch and has great views of the golf course in the valley and the hills that are the beginning of the Adirondack Mountains.
Gluten free items are marked on their menu. A pasta dish was selected and was found to be very good.
