This Victorian post box is located on the south west side of Goswell Road between the junctions with Percival Street and Sebastian Street ib Finsbury.

The box is in good decorative order with the usual scuffs and marks made by the bunch of keys used to unlock the box. The box has two letter openings that were probably, at some time, used for franked and unfranked mail or first and second class mail.

The box is located in a residential area opposite a small park. There are some retails shops adjacent to the box.
