This flush bracket was used during the Second geodetic levelling, England & Wales, and was levelled with a height of 1154.3780 feet [351.8544 metres] above mean sea level (Newlyn datum). It was included on the Bridford to Yelverton levelling line. The surveyor's description was Flush Bracket on angle N.E. end of St Gabriel's Church, Postbridge.
Third Geodetic Levelling, England & Wales (1950-68)
This flush bracket was used during the Third geodetic levelling, England & Wales. It was included on the Yelverton to Bridford levelling line. The surveyor's description was NE face, N angle of St Gabriel's Church, SE side of road."
