EN: The grave of Heirich Grieder and his wife Elisabeth is located in the north-western corner of the churchyard of Wintersingen, while the other graves of the cemetery are located south of the church. In front of the tombstone is a rectangle filled with pebbles, into which a triangle with red flowers is inserted. Stylistically, this appearance does not fit to the 1910s, so probably the grave was reshaped later.
Heinrich Grieder (1821-1913) was born in Wintersingen. He was originally a teacher, next to it conductor. Later, he gave up the teacher's profession to devote himself entirely to the music. His songs were very popular, he was also active as a conductor of various choirs up to old age and is still called "Sängervater" (father of the singer's).
