This Coat of Arms of Serbia is located at the statue of Prince Mihailo Obrenovic in Belgrade, Serbia. The statue was erected in 1882 and it was the first public monument with representation of an equestrian figure of a ruler in Serbia. The author of the monument is Italian sculptor Enrico Pazzi.
Coat of Arms depicts historical Coat of Arms of Serbia, a white cross with four firesteels. These arms date from the 14th century. It is also known as the Serbian cross and is considered as a national symbol of Serbia and it also represents the national identity of the Serbian people across the centuries.
