The Port of Hay Point is one of the largest coal export ports in the world. It comprises two coal export terminals, Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT) and Hay Point Coal Terminal (HPCT). Between them they have the capacity to export 129 million metric tons of coal per annum.

The anchors are representative of the many ships anchored off the port awaiting their berth at the coal loading jetties.
