Helen Keister was born during World War I on 4 June 1916. She became the second wife of James Carroll Chenoweth (1908-1988) who was 8 years her senior. James passed away when he was almost 80 years old, and Helen was almost 72. Helen continued on another 28 years, passing away on 4 August 2016. She is buried in the Muncie Chapel Churchyard Cemetery. The cemetery is well-kept, but the chapel itself is abandoned, with missing roof sections which will cause it to deteriorate to its demise.
