Former one-room schoolhous in Carley Mills, NY. The building was built in 1875, in conjunction with the Free Will Baptist Church. Schhol and church services were conducted here until 1888, when the Church moved to nearby Hastings. Classes were conducted here until 1953.
The building was the converted to a Community Hall, which still sees activity today.
The old Church and school were declared a County Historic Landmark in 1990 and added to the National Register of Historic Places (ID #04001449) on 1 May, 2005.
