[DE] Der rheinische Fachwerkbau mit seiner gotischen Halle im Erdgeschoss stammt aus dem 15. Jahrhundert. Dort befanden sich einst die Markthalle und die Gerichtslaube. Besonders auffällig ist der barocke Glockendachreiter mit der alten Feuerglocke. Im Inneren des Gebäudes sind noch Reste der mittelalterlichen Malerei und der barocken Stuckdecke erhalten. Die Gemälde in der Halle zeigen die Absetzung des Königs Wenzel von Böhmen im Jahre 1400 in Lahnstein.
Eine Besichtigung ist zur Zeit nur im Rahmen der Schlenderweinprobe möglich.

[EN] The Rhenish half-timbered building with its gothic hall on the ground floor dates back to the 15th century. There were once the market hall and the court. Particularly striking is the baroque bell rider with the old fire bell. Inside the building are preserved remains of medieval painting and baroque stucco. The paintings in the hall show the deposition of King Wenceslas of Bohemia in 1400 in Lahnstein.
A visit is only possible within the framework of the wine tasting.
