Prior to the 2013 survey performed by Anderson Engineering of Minnesota, the boundary to Fort McCoy was well South of Farmers Valley Creek. In 2013 that boundary changed to place one marker right next to the Southwest end of the bridge spanning the creek. Per survey plat this is what is considered a drive monument. There is a decent shoulder to park on the Northwest side of the road just South of the bridge. A short walk down hill through tall grass and you are there. Watch for cars. The disk is marked with a metal witness post.
