Conducted in 2013 by Anderson Engineering of Minnesota, survey CSR 2289_Hillmer_2013 was designed to reestablish the border of Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. This particular area of the survey rewrote the boundary in the Southwest part of the fort just slightly edging along Highway 71 Southeast of Sparta, Wisconsin.
