Der historischen Verladekran steht direkt am Rhein gegenüber dem Hauptverwaltungsgebäude der Basalt-Actien-Gesellschaft. Früher wurde der Kran dazu benutzt, um den heimischen Basalt auf Rheinschiffe zu laden.
Der Kran und die Metallkonstruktion sind in sehr gutem Zustand.
