Pittsburg State, founded in 1903, is one of four division II schools in the State of Kansas. The Jack Overman Student Center, built in 1950 and remodeled in 2015, is the center of student activities on campus. The clock - on the south facade facing the "Oval", a green space between buildings - consists of two hands and 12 block marks.
