'Aktion' ist eine Plastik im öffentlichen Raum. Die abstrakte Skulptur wurde 1984-1990 (andere Angabe: 1985-1993) vom Leipziger Künstler Otto Berndt Steffen geschaffen. Sie war ein Auftragswerk zum Thema Sport, soll jedoch "das Streben des Menschen, aber auch sein Scheitern als universelles Thema" darstellen.
Die Skulptur ist ein Bronzeguss (H 300 x 400 x 400 cm).

'Aktion' is a sculpture in the public space. The abstract sculpture was created 1984-1990 (other information: 1985-1993) by the Leipzig artist Otto Berndt Steffen. It was a commission on the subject of sport, but it was supposed to be "man's striving, but also his failure as a universal topic".
The sculpture is a bronze cast (H 300 x 400 x 400 cm).
