As described by the Coast and Geodetic Survey ("CGS") back in 1949:
THE STATION IS LOCATED 0.05 MILE EAST OF THE RAILROAD DEPOT IN CORRIGAN, ABOUT 150 FEET EAST OF THE CENTER OF U.S. HIGHWAY NO. 59, AND 74 FEET NORTH OF THE CENTER OF A GRADED STREET.
THE TANK PROPER IS CONSTRUCTED OF STEEL AND HAS A DOME SHAPED ROOF WITH A BALL AT ITS TOP. IT IS SUPPORTED BY A FOUR LEGGED STEEL TRUSSWORK AND HAS AN OVERALL HEIGHT OF ABOUT 110 FEET.
THE POINT OBSERVED UPON WAS THE BALL AT THE TOP OF THE ROOF."
The CGS description is pretty accurate (save for "GRADED STREET" 74 feet South of the tank; that street is no longer in use), and so are the associated NGS Data Sheet's coordinates. This benchmark is actually hard to miss when in the general vicinity, as long as you don't get TOO close to the tank in question (so that you can still spot the actual reference point, namely the ball at the top of the metal tank).
While the water tower is not that interesting for a "benchmark recovery" perspective, there's another NGS benchmark to be found at the base of the tower's northwestern leg: BL0602 ("A 883") -- it's a CGS benchmark disk.
