While the Fire Station is a two-storey building, with the fire engines on the ground floor, I could not see a brass fir pole through the perspex sections of the panels of the roller doors.
The firemen are "permanent, retained" firefighters who live close enough to the fire station, to respond quickly in any emergency. (So they are unlikely to be on the premises when an alarm is activated.
The fire station is on the eastern side of the Wilson River, and north of the Bruxner Highway.
