TEXAS CITY -
Visitation for Mr. Edward Bogan was Monday, December 30th, at the Mainland Funeral Home Chapel in La Marque. There will be ho wake. Funeral services will be 12 p.m. today, Tuesday, December 31, 2002, at the Mt. Paran Missionary Baptist Church, 19 - 6th Street in Texas City with the Rev. Dr. W.W. Jackson, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow at Mainland Memorial Cemetery in Hitchcock.
Mr. Bogan was born November 23, 1956, in Galveston, Texas. He was employed as a Shift Manager at the Texas City McDonald's; and also worked at Industrial Fabricators in Texas City. He was a member of Christ Church Fellowship in Texas City and the bowling league. He departed this life on Wednesday, December 25, 2002, at his home.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Rita Bogan.
Left to cherish his memories are his devoted wife, Diane Bogan of Texas City; his children, Edward B. Bogan, Jr. (Irene), Cassandra Bogan, Jessica Bogan, James Young (Valarie), Kim Jackson all of Texas City and Alegra (Eric) Blackford of Hitchcock: sisters and brothers, Eunice Jackson, Ethel Ellis, Michael Bogan, Jerome Bogan all of Wharton and Ernest Bogan of Texas City; six grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Margaret Brown of Texas City; his godmother, Irene Ford of Wharton; and a host of nieces, nepehws, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothersand sisters-in-law, godsisters and brothers; other family members and friends.
