Sundial at the Church - Hölstein, BL, Switzerland - Sundials on Waymarking.com

EN: The sundial at the church of Hölstein is next to the first window on the left side of the nave. The sundial is not dated, but for stylistic reasons, it must be much younger than the church. I guess 1960s, the church is from 1590. The sundial has a square dial plate in bright green and red tones. Instead of a saying there is only the reference: "Psalm 103 Verses 15/16" (As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.)

To the left of the sundial, there is a noon mark with a hole-gnomon.

DE: Die Sonnenuhr an der Kirche von Hölstein befindet sich neben dem ersten Fenster an der linken Seite des Kirchenschiffs. Die Sonnenuhr ist nicht datiert, aus stilistischen Gründen muss sie aber viel jünger sein als die Kirche. Ich schätze 1960er Jahre, die Kirche ist von 1590. Die Sonnenuhr hat ein quadratisches Zifferblatt in hellen Grün- und Rottönen. Statt eines Spruches steht nur der Verweis: "Psalm 103 Vers 15/16" (Ein Mensch ist in seinem Leben wie Gras; er blühet wie eine Blume auf dem Felde.)

Links neben der Sonnenuhr befindet sich noch ein Mittagsweiser mit einem Loch-Gnomon.
