High above the entrance of the 'Neues Rathaus' (New City Hall) in Esslingen, Germany, Baden-Württemberg is a clock located. Another clock is mounted to all four sides of the small tower on top of the roof.

High above the entrance of the 'Neues Rathaus' (New City Hall) in Esslingen, Germany, Baden-Württemberg is a clock located. Another clock is mounted to all four sides of the small tower on top of the roof.

All clocks have Roman literals.

The city hall has been built in 1748-1751. This seems to be the year of creation of the clock too. The building was originally built as a city palazzo of Freiherrn Gottlieb von Palm. It is used as city hall since 1850.
