This disk marks the County border for Monroe and La Crosse on Highway 16.

Located on the South side of Highway 16 at the Monroe County and La Crosse County border this disk was set in 1993 by La Crosse County. This Control Station is set for the Wisconsin County GPS Network. It's West of Sparta and East of Burns and Bangor. To get to it park on the South side of Highway 16 at a farmland entrance area. This parking area is large and well of the highway shoulder. The disk which is marked by three orange witness posts, a metal pole and a yellow right of way marks is easily identifiable. The walk to the disk is very easy.
