This still-active former boomtown saloon boasts of at least three active spirits that manifest themselves from time to time.
One is the apparation of an old prospector who appears at the bar looking for a drink.
The other is a card player who lost more than his fortune playing games of chance. He still appears at the corner card table from time to time. The bullets from the fateful shots can still be seen embedded in the tine siding.
Finally, the spirit of Carole Lombard, fiancee of Clark Gable is said to haunt the "Ladies Room". In 1942 Clark Gable stayed in the bar for two days awaiting word of the fate of Ms Lombard, who was on a flight that crashed nearby. All were killed. She is said to appear in the saloon, getting prettied up for Gable.
