Taroom is a vibrant little town located on the Dawson River. It relies on the beef industry, wheat & forestry for industry and is a pleasant place to stop for the traveller. The LPO is open Monday to Friday only 9 to 5 & provides Finance & insurance, Identity & document, Parcels & mail & Passports & travel services. It also sells bait & tackle to catch that saratoga you always wanted. Remember though - catch, photograph & release.
