Originally an early-Gothic bishop’s castle, remodeled in the 16th century into a formal Renaissance chateau, with an extensive English park. Visitors can view the chateau‘s Gothic cellars, the bishop’s chapel, Renaissance interiors, the armory, the interiors of the Burgrave’s palace, a riding hall, historical lighting fixtures, tableware a porcelain, textiles, personal a travel accessories, ethnographical collections, a folk furniture. The windows of the bishop’s chapel feature unique colored glass manufactured in an original technological process.

Renesancní zámek na míste puvodního hradu ze 13. stol. Patril pražskému biskupství, od r. 1535 majetkem Lobkovicu, kterí jej prestaveli na reprezentacní renesancní zámek. Od r. 1620 až do r. 1945 vlastnili zámek Trauttmansdorffové, kterí provedli v 19. stol. další pseudoslohové úpravy.
