It was designed, and painted by Trish and Ty Heaven, in 2016; as part of the Richmond Valley Councils Commitment to Public Artwork.
The mural is very artistically done, with bricks even being painted in, to make it look like a wall which has been partly demolished, so that the viewer has an insight into the children's enjoyment of the Casino public pool. Yes, one child is even doing an 'illegal bomb' in the first panel. There are vines and other plants painted around the 'opening'.
The second panel has a natural waterhole scene, with what looks like Koori kids jumping into a river, and a platypus surfacing right in front of the viewer.
The third panel shows some more children enjoying a water playground. And again the artists having it look like you are right there.
