The wording Chemist can be identified however directly under is another word in red & as I was trying to decipher that, a local fellow stopped to say hello. I asked him if he knew what the word was & he said Pharmacy. He had lived in the town all his life & had been a customer of the chemist, Gregory J Wilkins. The phone number attests to how long ago that was, with two digit phone numbers which required a manual exchange phased out in the 1960's. My parents' phone number in 1967 was Tenterfield 13.
