This carin is one of three main cairns of the summit of Moel Faban. At 408.7m the summit gives fantastic views of the surrounding Carneddau mountains and over to Anglesey.
The cairn can be reached via sometimes steep footpaths leading from the villages of either Rachub or Llanllechid.
This cairn consists of two main chambers and one smaller less defined chamber.
The cairn is believed to Prehistoric and possibly used for burial or religious purposes. However over the years it has been damaged by treasure hunters and for shelter building.
