Travel approximately 2.5 miles west on Highway 50 to the entrance of Skyline Dr. This is a one way road so there is no turning back.
There are two places to park, I chose to use the coordinates where I took the photo at. Skyline Drive is a popular place in the summer to enjoy those hot summer night to view the city lights of Canon City.
Skyline Drive is open all year round. The gate is open at 0600 hours and locked back up at midnight. Best viewing times very on the the time of year. I would say anytime from dusk to midnight.
