The "Welcome Veterans" on the sign was for a Sunday when the church had an honor the veterans program, and the Cpl. Richard Scott Haymes Detachment #1393 of the Marine Corps League had the honor of presenting and retiring colors during the ceremony. I am a part of that team, then the church feed us a very grand lunch [dinner in these parts, supper is at night]
