These two Coats of Arms represent the City of Varazdin (at the right side) and the Varazdin County (on the left side). Coats of Arms are located at Franciscan square in Varazdin, Croatia. It is actually remaining of the War Monument that was built in 1915.
City of Varazdin received the right to use its Coat of Arms in 1464 from Hungarian King Matthias Corvinus. It depicts an angel that holds shield with tower on the shield. Varazdin County Coat of Arms is actually Coat of Arms of Erdody family, who were hereditary counts of the County of Varazdin since the 17th century.
