FR/Depuis deux siècles, les élus ont porté une attention toute particulière à la rénovation de cette église. Elle n’est pas classée au patrimoine des Monuments Historiques de France, mais fait néanmoins partie du patrimoine de la commune.
Au XIXème siècle, d’importants travaux de restauration sont entrepris. Dans la partie qui nous intéresse, le clocher, la couverture, sont entièrement remaniés.
En dépit de toutes ces interventions, l’église est à nouveau en mauvais état en 1924, et Il faut prévoir a nouveau la rénovation de la toiture, entre autres travaux. Un comité « Mon Clocher » est créé pour assurer les réparations urgentes et recueillir des fonds auprès des pocéens. Malheuresement, vers 1960, l’église présente de nouveaux des désordres de charpente, peut-être dus aux vibrations causées par une cloche de trop grande dimension ! En 1962-1963, on reconstruit le clocher, en chêne pour le tambour et en sapin du nord pour la flèche.
Après 30 ans de répit, c’est en 1992 que de nouvelles tranches de travaux ont commencé. Un an plus tard, les 4 anses de la cloche cédaient sous l’effet de la corrosion. S’en suivait donc la refonte de la cloche de 417 kg toujours à la fonderie Bollée près d’Orléans.
En 2001, remplacement de l'horloge automatisant le fonctionnement de la cloche !
En 2007, nouvelle réfection de la toiture. Vu le coût, les travaux seront échelonnés sur plusieurs mandats.
Les travaux continueront ainsi pour conserver ce monument dans l'état d'aujourd'hui

EN/For two centuries, elected officials paid special attention to the renovation of the church. It is not listed as Monuments Heritage Historical France, but nonetheless is part of the heritage of the town.
 In the nineteenth century, major restoration work was undertaken. In relevant part, the bell tower, coverage, are completely reworked.
Despite these interventions, the church was again in poor condition in 1924, and must provide a new renovation of the roof, among other works. A committee "My Bell" was created to provide emergency repairs and collect funds from pocéens. Unfortunately, around 1960, the church presents new framing disorders, possibly due to vibration caused by a bell too large! In 1962-1963, we reconstructed the tower, oak for the drum and fir to the north arrow.
After 30 years of respite, it was in 1992 that new tranches of work started. A year later, the loops 4 of the bell yielded under the effect of corrosion. If so followed by recasting the bell of 417 kg always Bollee foundry near Orleans.
In 2001, replacement of the clock automating the operation of the bell!
In 2007, new re-roofing. Given the cost, the work will be spread over several terms.
The work and continue to keep the monument in the state today
