1920's Plymouth Locomotive on display at the Borax Museum at Furnace Creek.
This engine was used to move mine cars into and out of the Ryan Company borax mines in Death Valley. Of note is that the engine used a continuously variable transmission - a rarity even today.
The locomotive is located outside the Borax Museum in Furnace Creek.
