The Baroque chateau was built by Count Ferdinand James Kokorovec of Kokorov in 1730-1734, perhaps by an architect Thomas Haffenecker in the western part of the Štedrá village. It was restored and expanded in the late Baroque style in 1744 after a fire.

Barokní zámek nechal vystavet hrabe Ferdinand Jakub Kokorovec z Kokorova v letech 1730-1734 snad podle plánu architekta Tomáše Haffeneckera v západní cásti obce Štedrá. Po požáru roku 1744 byl obnoven a rozšíren v pozdne barokním slohu. Po roce 1945 areál užíval státní statek, pozdeji zde sídlila zemedelská škola ci ONV. Na pocátku 90. let 20. století doplatil zámek na chaotickou privatizaci a nevyužívaný objekt postupne chátral. Roku 2011 zakoupila zdevastovaný zámek obec Štedrá.
