This building was built in 1922 by masonry contractor J.N. Summerfield using fireproof construction. It was built for Howard Atkinson to house his auto dealership and repair store. It housed his dealership until 1926 when the auto shop changed hands and the name was changed to Art Wendorff-Nash Garage. It remained the Wendorff-Nash until or beyond 1930. Today it houses a salon on one side and the other is for rent.
