The Wesley Church is a Federation Gothic style church constructed in 1889 with limestone walls and corrugated steel roof, the church was built next to the original wooden church to accomodate the increasing number of methodists in Fremantle, but in 1979 the Methodist, Congregational and Presbyterian churches combined to become the Uniting Church in Australia.
