EN: The Grosses Wasser (Great Water) is a river in the Simplon area in the canton of Valais. It is about 13 kiometers long and rises above the village of Zwischbergen near the Italian border. The direction of the river is approximately north-east through the Zwischbergen Valley. In Gondo it flows into the Doveria.

The Doveria rises in the vicinity of the Simplon Pass and flows south, then east, and finally south again. The top section is called Chrummbach, from the Italian border - a few meters after the confluence - it is called Diveria. At Crevadossola, it flows into the Toce, which is part of the Po river system. The river is 37.7 kilometers long, 20.5 kilometers of which are in Swiss territory. Between Gabi and Gondo, it has dug a spectacular gorge through which the Simplon Pass road leads today.

The confluence is a few meters south of Gondo. Near the confluence, on the south bank, there is a small parking lot on the road to Zwischbergen, from there are the coordinates.

Die Doveria entspringt in der Nähe der Simplonpasshöhe und fliesst erst gegen Süden, dann gegen Osten und zuletzt wieder nach Süden. Der oberste Abschnitt wird Chrummbach genannt, ab der italienischen Grenze - also wenige Meter nach dem Zusammenfluss - heisst sie Diveria. Bei Crevadossola mündet sie in die Tosa, die zum Flusssystem des Po gehört. Der Fluss ist 37.7 Kilometer lang, 20.5 Kilometer davon sind auf Schweizer Gebiet. Zwischen Gabi und Gondo hat er eine spektakuläre Schlucht gegraben, durch die heute die Simplonpassstrasse führt.

Der Zusammenfluss ist wenige Meter südlich von Gondo. Nahe beim Zusammenfluss am Südufer gibt es einen kleinen Parkplatz an der Strasse nach Zwischbergen, von da sind die Koordinaten.
