From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 13.1 miles. Turn left onto FR2070 and continue for about 0.9 miles to a gated road on the left. Walk generally SW on this road, and then cross-country, for about 0.4 miles to the corner.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; flush with ground

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner is in an area of waist-high Ceanothus, and all the bearing trees are burnt snags or tall stumps. There is a BEARING TREE yellow tag on a snag in the NE quadrant.

Deschutes National Forest all around; see also USDI-Bureau of Land Management, Field Notes of the Remonumentation of Certain Original Corner Points, Township 13 South, Range 8 East of the Willamette Meridian in the State of Oregon; Survey Completed August 23, 1966
