Concrete pillar with steel top plate on top of short rock cut on southeast side of riddell drive, 1.6 km northeast of junction with county road 9 (dunrobin road), 2.55 km southwest of road to "dnd connaught range", 14.8 m from centre line of road, 2.2 m southeast of southeast end of "national geodetic baseline" sign, 1.9 m southeast of power line, about 1.5 m above road level. Elevation taken on top at centre of main circular plate anchored on top of pillar.
