Neues Rathaus Sonneberg
Im Oktober 1928 fand die feierliche Einweihung des "neuen" Sonneberger Rathauses statt, ein Ereignis, dass mit einem großen Festprogramm begangen wurde. Mit dem Neubau, gekrönt von dem imposanten 40m hohen Turm, fand zugleich das damals vielbeachtete städtebauliche Ensemble um den Bahnhofsvorplatz seine Vollendung. 1945 zerstört, später wiedererrichtet und mehrmals umgebaut.
