Jandowae Miniature Railway is open on the fourth Sunday of the month & is located in Lions Park. It runs in an oblong path, features both steam (Bolton) & petrol driven engines carrying several passenger wagons. Directions are given as to how to board. The ticket office is the original relocated Jandowae Station.
I wasn't there on the day of opening however there is a You Tube display of a steam engine which gives the name of the engine & gauge.
I was interested to see the relocated Station as my late father worked for Queensland Railways & his first posting was at this station in 1938 as a Lad Porter aged 16.
Gauge of railway: 5 inch
Engine Type: Live Steam
