DESCRIBED BY NATIONAL GEODETIC SURVEY 1960 1.1 MI E FROM SPRING HILL. FROM THE L. AND N. RAILROAD STATION, GO SOUTHEAST ON DEPOT RD. FOR 0.9 MILE, THEN 0.2 MILE NORTH ON U.S. HIGHWAY 31, THEN 1.1 MILE EAST ON DUPLEX RD. THE BENCH MARK IS 22 FT. SOUTH OF THE CENTER OF DUPLEX RD., 22 FT. EAST OF THE CENTER OF A PRIVATE DRIVE, 10 FT. EAST OF A TELEPHONE POLE, 1.5 FT. NORTH OF A FENCE, AND 0.6 FT. SOUTH OF A WITNESS SIGN. THE DISK IS SET IN TOP OF A CONCRETE POST PROJECTING 1 INCH AND ABOUT 3 FT. ABOVE THE LEVEL OF THE ROAD.
