This aqueduct run from the upper hills into Tarquinia along the famous necropolis. Sign says, its build 1709-1714 but many claimed it as roman.
Its runs about 5 km from the hills in direction to Viterbo mixed between open construction build with arched supportings and underground channels.

Tarquinia is a settlement since the time of the Estruscans. There must be older water supply here but the estruscans prefer cisterns to collect and store water, so the first aqueduct here schould be from the roman period about 200 BC.
When was it built?: 01/01/1714
