Cityradio Trier is the local radio station for Trier & the Eifel-Moselle region. He started his broadcasting operation on 13 November 2010. Until then, a transition program ran. The frequencies were previously used by the insolvent radio station antenna West, but the latter had to return it. From 3 January 2010 to the start of the broadcast of Cityradio Trier, 884 Trier broadcast on the frequency of Antenne West.

The operator is Cityradio Trier GmbH. A music and information program focusing on pop music will be broadcast. The station is part of "The Radio Group". The program will be produced in the new radio station at Porta Nigra.

The frequencies 88.4 MHz Trier-Petrisberg, 94.7 MHz Trierweiler and 87.8 MHz Bitburg are connected.
