Home to the Sparta High School Spartans and the 4th of July Fireworks show, Sparta Memorial Park has this shelter donated by the Lions Club.

Shelter #4 at Sparta Memorial Park is considered the best in the park. It has a huge pit barbecue area as well as concession stand and picnic area. To mark this is the classic Lions International symbol as it was donated by the Sparta Lions Club. The Shelter is home to the main concession and festivities during the local 4th of July celebration with featured frozen custard and root beer floats from Culvers. The park is also home to the local swimming pool and a city run golf course.
