The George Rogers Clark Discovery Trail is an 8.7-mile bicycle/pedestrian trail connecting the cities of Metropolis and Brookport through Massac County and Fort Massac State Park.
To reach Strawberry Road TH, take Exit 37 off I-24 and go east on US 45 for 1.7 miles. Turn right onto Strawberry road and head south for 1.35 miles. The parking lots on the right.
There is also parking and trail access off both Belgrade Road to the east and the Fort Massac visitor center to the west. Belgrade Rd and Strawberry Road provides access which can be used to ride the 2.7-mile rail-trail section of the trail, even when high water closes the connecting road to the park facilities on the west.
