34 Corner Blue Hole is one of several blue holes along the Mississippi river. The lake is on the unprotected side of the Mississippi River Levee, it can and will flood, often several feet deep. The area is open to use from 6AM to 10PM. Please do not seek this cache outside those hours.
Primitive camping is permitted in the parking lot and the hole is suitable for some canoeing.
There are several kinds of fish in the hole including Bass, Catfish, Carp, Buffalo and Sunfish. Also Crappie fishing can be especially good after the Mississippi River floods the lake, then recedes.
