In the center of Lake George, is the House of Frankenstein Wax Museum.
The facility is located right along Canada Street through downtown Lake George. Park on the street (metered).
The place is a wax museum with a horror theme. After paying the fee, you walk through two levels displays - in the dark. As you walk down the hall, you encounter 'rooms' with views in (you stay in the hall). The rooms have horror scenes, beginning with a Hollywood like scene of Frankenstein bringing his monster to life. I won't spoil the rest, but the scenes range from tributes to 'B' movies to more disturbing slasher and type movies. There are points where you are surprised.
It takes about an hour to go through.
