The Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (Potsdam-Institut für Klimafolgenforschung in German) is a German government-funded environmental think tank doing top-research in the fields of climate impacts, global change, and sustainable development. It is considered one of the leading institutes in its field world wide.

It was founded in 1992 and is located in an former Astrophysical Observatory in Potsdam's Albert Einstein Science Park.
