Tambar Springs is noted for the number of fossils of Diprotodons found in the area. The church has two signs, one about its history has a metal rendition of such a beast which were plant eating marsupials about the size of a hippopotamus, the other more formal.
The church is well maintained, has a water tank & a dunny out the back.
You can celebrate Mass on the second & fourth Sundays of the month at 11 am.
