Chairlift Ráztoka – Pustevny has interesting and long history. Its first one-seat version, shorter and with wooden towers, was built in 1939-1940 by František Wiesner company from Chrudim. Chairlift, opened for public use in March 4, 1940 as the first in Europe, was firstly reconstructed in 1956 when the wooden towers were replaced by truss steel towers. This chairlift was replaced by longer and more modern Tatrapoma TS-2 two-seat chairlift in 1987. This chairlift, modernised again in 2006 (new ropes and gear case), is still in service. The popular chairlift, used frequently in both summer and winter seasons, is owned and operated by Sport Club Skialpin Pustevny.
